1980年12月8日の夜（現地時間）に、John Lennonは自宅のダコタハウス前で、ファンを名乗る男に銃で撃たれて死亡しました。

12月7日19:00から日が変わって8日になるまで、新宿三丁目のロックバーupset the apple-cartで、「John Lennon33回忌」のイベントが行われました。
